Introduction to the October 2021 Daniel 11 Conference
The Daniel 11 Conference will be held at the Village SDA Church in Berrien Springs, Michigan, from October 20-23, and its purpose is as follows: to provide a forum for the public hearing of the leading King of the South (KOS) interpretations of Daniel 11.40ff; to stimulate further study among church members on eschatological prophecy; and to raise awareness among church members of where we are in the broad flow of salvation history. All are invited to attend.

2.00 - 2.45 pm Introduction, housekeeping, affirmation of objectives, social mixer exercise and season of prayer. Elder Ron Kelly to lead. 2.45 - 3.30 pm "The Journey Thus Far" Dr. Conrad Vine 3.30 - 5.00 pm 45-minute presentation. Elder Ken LeBrun 45-minute dialogue and prayer among attendees. Dr. Conrad Vine will moderate this session. 5.00 - 6.00 pm Supper 6.00 - 7.30 pm 45-minute presentation Dr. Frank Hardy 45-minute dialogue and prayer among attendees. Thursday, 21st Oct
8.00 - 9.00 am Introduction. Opening thoughts. Season of prayer. Feedback from the previous day’s programming. Elder Ron Kelly to lead. 9.00 - 12 noon Two separate presentations. Dr. Michael Younker & Dr. Roy Gane Each 90-minute segment will consist of a 45-minute presentation, 35 minutes of dialogue and prayer among attendees, and a 10-minute break. Dr. Conrad Vine will moderate this session. 12 Noon - 1.30 pm Lunch break. A simple lunch will be provided in the Family Center for all conference attendees. 1.30 - 2.00 pm Season of prayer Elder Ron Kelly 2.00 - 5.00pm Two presentations. Elder Ed Nelson & Dr. Norman McNulty Each 90-minute segment will consist of a 45-minute presentation, 35 minutes of dialogue and prayer among attendees, and a 10-minute break. Dr. Tarsee Li & Elder Stephen Bohr Each 90-minute segment will consist of a 45-minute presentation, 35 minutes dialogue and prayer among attendees, and a 10-minute break. Dr. Conrad Vine will moderate this session. Dr. Roy Gane will provide onscreen technical support. 12 noon – 1.30 pm Lunch break. A simple lunch will be provided in the Family Center for all conference attendees. 1.30 – 1.45 pm Season of prayer Elder Ron Kelly 1.45 – 5.00 pm Scholars’ roundtable discussion of the morning presentations on Daniel 11. First Service: 8.30 - 10.00 am Festival of Prophecy. The impact and importance of prophetic understanding in earth’s final days. Elder Stephen Bohr Sabbath School: 10.00 - 11.00 am The importance and impact of prophecy in evangelism. Roundtable discussion with evangelists, e.g. Elder Tim Roosenberg, Elder Ken LeBrun, Elder Stephen Bohr. Moderated by Elder Ron Kelly. Second Service: 11:20 - 1.00 pm Festival of Prophecy. The impact and importance of prophetic understanding in earth’s final days. Elder Christian Martin 1.00 - 2.00 pm Fellowship meal in the Family Center 2.00 - 5.00 pm Season of prayer. Elder Ron Kelly A roundtable discussion involving a mixture of scholars and evangelists on the significance of prophetic interpretation for the personal spiritual life, for the Advent movement, and for public evangelism. Possible panelists include Ken LeBrun, Stephen Bohr, John Witcombe, Tim Roosenberg, Roy Gane, Tarsee Li, Oliver Glanz. Dr. Roy Gane to provide onscreen technical support. |
